His versatile way of teaching has allowed me enjoy playing the guitar because he is able to Immerse himself in my culture and explore music that motivate me to continue learning.

Ian has become a part of my family in such a short amount of time, and I am happy that we found him.

He’s especially great with young children who are learning a new instrument.

Ian takes a well-balanced approach between both music theory instruction and song playing so that his students gain the necessary knowledge and perspective to be able to both freestyle/solo play as well as play covers of the songs in which his students are most interested.

You are very professional, knowledgable and accommodating.

During COVID, he was quickly able to turn his in-person lessons to online lessons without no impact to my learning and growth in guitar.

I have been taking lessons from Ian Farrington for several years now and he is very knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating in all respects.

More importantly, they enjoy it and look forward to seeing Ian (even when via Zoom) so they can show off their new guitar skills--as well as challenge him to play Rush!

He customizes his lessons to what the student wants to focus on all while continuing to build on the student's progress in core guitar lessons.

His lessons are very creative and allow our son to make a great progress and develop even after 3 classes, Ian is very patient and explains everything in very clear way.
