The martial arts offer benefits to children, men and women of all ages developing discipline, concentration, confidence, physical fitness, self-control and self-defense. At FMAC, we focus on traditional Korean martial arts: Taekwondo, Hapkido and Kumdo. Taekwondo emphasizes fast and powerful kicking techniques. Hapkido, Korean form of self-defense, uses locks, grappling, throwing, kicks, punches and weapons. Kumdo encompasses Korean swordsmanship. We provide classes tailored to all ages and levels focusing on small group and attention to individual instruction.

The twins injoy and love this class instuster is so good with the kids and teaches them dusaplant and respect for others this class has helped them in there confidence, and in self esteem

After becoming black belts their curriculum has changed drastically, focusing on self-defense, weaponry, advanced board breaking, and leadership.
For example, there is an exercise called Hurigi (one step head cut) that you do in repetitive quick succession (like a forward jumping jack with a juk-to head strike).
Monica, the owners, have been able to teach Taekwondo with integrity and dedication in a disciplined, respectful and skillful way, and yet making it fun for younger kids.
FMAC focuses on traditional Taekwondo with its emphasis on integrity, respect, and personal growth and development.
The kids have a lot of fun and are progressing well here.
