I definitely feel as though I have a much better understanding of my body and I have already begun to experience less back pain during my regular exercise routine.
Additionally, I have osteoporosis -- Jessica is working on balance to mitigate my fall risk; and is getting my joints into a healthier state.
The studio only offers one on one sessions that are well worth it because the individual attention was exactly what I needed to understand my body and eliminate my back pain for good.
Their ability to not only observe but correct during the exercises ensures you are in proper form to maximize your efforts.
I started private sessions with Jessica to change my rehab plan post hip surgery (hip arthroscopy) when I got tired of conventional PT and had trouble finding someone who understood my injury and could look beyond conventional exercises.
I love the personalized, 1:1 experience, and they way they've worked with me through a variety of injuries (I've sprained joints most people don't even know exist).
I find the two modalities both work well together, with Jess working on my whole body and core strength and the PT working only on the one issue.
I also appreciate that the studio is clean and all the Pilates apparatuses and equipment are in tip-top shape (plus the heated floor mat in the winter; it's another example of her attention to detail).
She helps a lot with my chronic lower back problem and now I'm pain free for more than six months!
I had shoulder pain for a few years, but with regular visits to Jess, and by doing the "take-home" exercises she taught, that pain has gone away over time.
