With the difficult life transition of having a baby, going back to work after maternity leave, moving across the country and being a full-time working mom on PT hours, Lori embraced me into the mommy/baby yoga group with open arms. She cultivates an environment that grounds and encourages women and has helped me personally better reflect on my previous pregnancies and prepare for my future births!
I have learned a lot of breathing techniques and mantras that I use on my own when I’m feeling stressed - I can’t wait to use them during my birth experience as well.
I took the classes while pregnant with my son a few years ago and now I’m back pregnant with my daughter.
Lori's instruction gave me so much confidence in moving my body that I ultimately wound up on a path to a successful unmedicated birth.
Lori puts on such a phenomenal class, from her music to the poses and even the positive affirmations she gives you all make for the best yoga experience I have had!
These were all very different classes that offered their own unique spins that all helped relieve stress and anxiety and refocus you mind and body and calm things down (if even just for the duration of the class).
I have leaned on these women for the simple things like how did you pottly train your stubborn child, what did you do when your child started biting, as well as the hard things like who did you lean on when the postpartum hormones and depression left you reeling
Highly, highly recommend to anyone who is going through pregnancy!
The prenatal yoga classes were so great and taught me so many skills that I used a lot during labor!
I would definitely recommend prenatal yoga, mom+ baby yoga, and her restorative candlelight yoga.
