The sessions were very flexible and guided by what I was interested in - he suggested songs based on music I liked and skill level, as well as adapted songs that I specifically wanted to learn.
He structures each lesson based on my (sometimes fickle and always changeable) interests and is willing and able to tailor the content and theme of each lesson as needed.
I've been taking lessons for over a year with Brendan (every other week), and I love it- I'm not stopping anytime soon.
After working with Brendan this year, he has taught me techniques in small proportions of typical Flamenco arpeggios, picados, resgueados, alzapuas, tremolos, and then combining of these to a kind of falsetas.
I came to Dahlia Music Studio with no knowledge of how to use a guitar, and after a few short months I learned so much about the instrument and music in general.
