In Crystal Theatre's version of the classic fairy-tale—Snow White—our heroine leaves her old life behind and discovers that “it's nice to be needed”. Our 7 dwarves (6 brothers and one overworked sister) provide a safe haven when Snow White escapes death at the hands of the kind woodsman who has been ordered to “dispose of” the girl due to her Stepmother, Queen Vanity's jealousy. Narrated by the storytelling Troubadours and their friends, the ditsy “Troubadettes”, Snow White is ultimately saved from the endless sleep delivered by Queen Vanity's magic by the advice of The Oracle and his assistant who foretell the arrival of a handsome Prince who will end the spell through “a gift of love”.
