From working with Alyssa, I feel so much more grounded and at peace with myself from all the work we have done over the past 12 weeks
If you’re looking for a trainer, or someone to just push you through exercises and talk to you about body fat percentages – you’ll be able to find that with someone else (although she can do that too, and do it really well).
Through our 1-on-1s and weekly check-ins, Alyssa creates this environment where you don't feel judged and you're truly being listened to and heard from.
But once I started the BEOB program with her, she was able to identify more fundamentally what I needed to work on with my health, namely my gut health and to get in more breathing and easy movements into my day.
It's through her unique holistic approach and non-judgemental personality that I was able to really understand my relationship with my food, exercise, and my mood.
With our one on one coaching calls, she makes me feel heard and seen, adjusting my program when needed, to fit where I am in my journey.
I loved that the program happens alongside with my life happening - I've joined "health programs" in the past where I think "Ok, I'm going to start next week and really set aside everything to focus and do it.
We talked about digestion, liver detox, cravings, binging, how to eat when traveling, detoxing off of the pill, emotional eating, how to take care of yourself when work gets crazy and so much more.
I no longer feel anxious about food, eating out or feeling like I have to eliminate something entirely from my diet - no matter how much I love it.
She approaches coaching with Z-health ( Brain-based Training) which really help me get out of pain, showed me ways to start moving in the most efficient ways, how to fueling my body in positive ways, feeling confidence/capable with all types of challenges.
