Chelsea, a Sarasota native, found yoga in 2012 and was instantly hooked! From the age of four she practiced ballet but suffered a lower back injury during a rehearsal when she was a teenager. Feeling hopeless that ballet was out of the picture, she found herself stuck in a stagnant place battling mild bouts of depression throughout her early twenties. Not knowing where life was taking her, she found yoga to be a great physical workout with some similarities to her ballet practice. Quickly realizing yoga was so much more than a great workout, she started to grasp the mind, body, and spiritual benefits it offered.
