When I was in school I was working as a bartender. After getting off work at 3am I stopped at a convenience store. As I walked up to the sliding doors this guy rushed at me from behind swinging a pipe. I got off the line and saved my head from getting hit but caught most of the impact across my shoulder. It was a real hard shot and rocked me but I was able to keep it together and defend myself. As he swung again I moved inside, just like we are taught (center of the hurricane) and jammed his arm which caused the pipe to fly out of his hand. From there I blasted him with elbows and knees putting him down. It was a crazy night but if I did not have the great training from the Bushido Ryu I could have been badly hurt or killed. This is a great school for real self defense training
