Playing the piano has opened a window of great possibilities for them, they play the piano anytime they want and practice with enthusiasm, and they have also put together little concerts for us that we all feel very proud of.

My 7 year old has been taking piano lessons with Brett for just a few weeks and he is already doing really well.

Music has turned out to be such a great outlet for stress and anxiety -- for the whole family -- when everything else is completely upside-down and in turmoil.

Giving them power to say “yes or no” if they are comfortable moving forward, also asking them to be “specific” in what they are having problems with, giving them a lot of positive reinforcements..

He uses humor, positive reinforcement and open communication to help his students build confidence and feel empowered in their own learning.

The transition to remote during the past year has been handled very well.

His unique way of teaching thorough kids to critical thinking,literacy skills, and emotional intelligence plus they have fun and gain self confidence.

Brett has been a fantastic teacher with our son.

Brett doesn’t just teach my son how to play the piano- he has the patience and skills to help my son cultivate his individual curiosity about sound, rhythm, and song.

In that time he has played music from all genres, performed in front of an audience, and generally grown in both skills and love of music.
