Brian Lin Voice Studio

Remember, the voice is different from other musical instruments. It is a primarily invisible, complex system of breathing, vocal fold compression, and resonance. There are multiple variables to consider and a lot of mistakes to avoid. If you want to see real progress and avoid vocal problems, it is strongly recommended to find a skilled teacher with a discerning ear, keen understanding of vocal exercise design, and deep knowledge of vocal anatomy.

Sentiment Analysis
He has a deep understanding of the body physics that are necessary to achieve proper pitch and tone, and he is very good at explaining this in layman’s terms.
If I had to condense some of what I've gained in my 2 years of being his student, it would be the ability to troubleshoot vocal problems on my own, vocal critical listening skills, a variety of singing methods that are ACTUALLY practical and achievable; and most importantly (to me) confidence in myself as a singer that I didn't used to have prior to learning from him.
From rock to r&b to pop, he has helped me find my voice and find the confidence to express myself through singing.
I began as a true beginner, Brian help me first understand the mechanisms of the voice and its different muscle- all of which gives you a well rounded approach to your singing.
I have always loved singing but hated that I constantly sang out of tune—a problem I no longer have since I met Brian!!
Brian is a talented voice coach who uses his deep understanding of the vocal cords combined with his passion for singing to bring out the best in anyone who is willing put the same effort in learning how to sing and absorb the knowledge he teaches.
I was experiencing vocal discomfort for years that had previously been dismissed by highly respected coaches but brian was able to immediately notice its root cause and corrected it in one lesson.
In a relatively short period of time, I went from never knowing I had a mixed voice to successfully tackling songs that I never attempted before because I did not think I had the chops for them.
Brian's approach to singing is super easy to follow as he explains singing in a very rational and anatomical way all while giving practical examples of what is being taught.
Even when I kept pushing to try to sing early on, he reiterated his course structure and emphasized to me why building a strong foundation and understanding of the mouth/throat/vocal chords are more important early-on than to immediately jumped into singing a song.
