I’m and adult beginner and Sunni and the other teachers make sure I learn how to dance not simply go through the motions.
Sun Mi has wonderful adult ballet class, and is truly gifted in crafting each individual class to fit the unique needs of each student in the class.
This is the second year, my daughter is dancing with Ms Sunmi.
I have been going here for over a year and couldn’t recommend it more.
I took ballet growing up and was nervous about returning and finding a good cultural fit, but Ballet Sun Mi is a warm and supportive community and I couldn’t be happier.
I hadn’t been to a ballet class for well over a decade and was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to keep up but my fears were put aside the moment I walked into that first class.
The teachers give specific and individualized instruction that helps students progress in every class.
Also, I am extremely sensitive about body image and overall expectations put on girls these days - to be the best, have the best body, get the best grades, and of course have the best behavior.
My daughter loves taking lessons here.
Sun Mi and the other instructors have incredible skill in creating an environment that is structured and appropriately challenging, while still being incredibly supportive and warm.
