We offer a whole horse approach to learning how to horseback ride. All students are taught herd behavior and body language. They also learn how to use their body language to engage with the horse. The benefits of working with the horse, in hand, on the ground, are immense. Ground work sets you up as leader in your horse's eyes, it creates a bond that simply horseback riding alone, cannot create, and it keeps you safe while determining if your horse is mentally ready for the day's task.

It’s also worth noting that all of her horses/ponies are extremely well taken care of and are not overworked (something I’ve seen time and again at other barns).
Riding and instruction on how to care for a horse.
Loretta is a great instructor so nice great prices high quality I love her horses!
I searched to find a place that would teach me how to ride and communicate with the horse - a partnership - in a safe environment that cares about both horse and rider.
I have never actually gone to this farm; somehow googie thought I left a one star review.
Great people who genuinely care about horses.
Everything looks super fresh and well kept, you can tell that there goes a lot of effort in keeping the horses and the students happy :-)
Lauren and Loretta are wonderful people, who truly go the extra mile for their animals!
She's extremely supportive, holds me accountable, pushes me to succeed while making sure I'm having fun, and gives extremely helpful feedback.
As a true beginner, I loved the way she explained and walked me through everything one step at a time starting with the basics.
